Moving Beyond Conditioning and Embodying My Higher Self
AKA What Happened in my World this Week (Beyond Politics)
Lately, I’ve been drawn to a different way of showing up in the world. I feel a calling to be present, not through the ego or the layers I’ve built up over time, but through the truest, most genuine parts of who I am. I’m becoming more aware that I am not just my thoughts or the conditioned responses that arise; I am awareness itself, pure consciousness, and wherever my attention goes, my energy flows.
Reflecting on where my attention has been, I see that so much of it has been shaped by outside influences: beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and experiences I’ve clung to rather than released. These energies linger within me, creating sensations I’ve often ignored or suppressed. Now, as these feelings arise—whether discomfort, a sense of restriction, or even a tightening within—I’m learning to respond differently. I take a deep breath, reminding myself to relax and let go.
In those moments, I find gratitude—gratitude for the simple awareness that lets me step back and recognize what’s happening, which allows me to move beyond the conditioned mind and drop into a place I call Love. It’s a space within that guides from a deeper, clearer, and more aligned energy.
The more I sit with myself, close my eyes, and dive into the patterns and stories within, the more I release the entanglements that hold me. With each layer I clear, I feel lighter and more open, and I notice signs and synchronicities around me—gentle winks from the universe showing me I’m on the right path. Or, maybe, as I laugh at the idea of a “right” direction, they’re simply reminders that I’m moving towards unity, towards my deepest self. For all of this, I am deeply grateful. Thank you for being here and reading. I love you. You’re worthy. You matter.
xx, Lisa
